第一百零七章 怪异六头手

Yinyin Island was located in the northeast corner of Cunyun Sea. Li Fan spent about twenty days traveling there, only to arrive near it.

The island wasn't large and had little vegetation. Only a square building stood out on the island.

From afar, one could faintly hear human cries of pain carried by the sea breeze.

"Is Elder Yinyin here?" Li Fan called out clearly.

His voice echoed across the entire island but received no response after a long while.

Li Fan asked again with patience.

Only the howling wind answered him.

Li Fan called out once more, still receiving no reply.

After pondering for a moment, Li Fan sensed that his fortune was indeed here. He carefully approached the square building on the island.

The building seemed to be made of some dark green stone material and had only one large gate in the middle. There were no other doors or windows around it.

Inside, everything was pitch black—neither light nor spiritual energy could penetrate through.

It was hard to see what exactly was inside. Only intermittent cries of pain echoed from within.

The place felt eerie, so Li Fan focused all his attention and slowly stepped forward.

Just as he was about to enter, a sudden sound caught his attention. A small creature, resembling a dog, ran out quickly and almost collided with him.

Li Fan initially thought it was some kind of beast attacking, but after scanning it with his spiritual sense, he realized it was just an ordinary small animal.

He didn't want to harm the pet of the host so easily. Li Fan stretched out his hand, grabbed its neck, and lifted it up.

The creature, taken by surprise, emitted a terrified whimper as it trembled all over.

With a snap, the item in its mouth fell to the ground.

Examining this small creature closely, Li Fan felt an eerie chill down his spine. The creature looked like a dog but had limbs similar to human hands. Its belly contained several eye-like objects that moved around and stared at him intently.

"What is this thing…" Suppressing the urge to throw it away, Li Fan held it behind his back as he slowly stepped into the darkness.

After a moment, Li Fan's eyes adjusted to the darkness and he could see clearly.

Contrary to his expectations of a dark and terrifying place, it was quite tidy. The floor was clean with no bloodstains. Various transparent cages were scattered around, each containing strange creatures that looked rather peculiar.

These odd creatures lay listlessly in their cages, not particularly aggressive. They remained indifferent when people approached them. It seemed the cages were one-way, allowing outsiders to see inside but not vice versa.

Among these bizarre creatures was a giant snake with two heads fighting each other, a large flat object covered in tiny maggots that swam around, and another clearly a hybrid of two species—a sheep-headed turtle body. The most unsettling creature for Li Fan was a monster composed of six human heads. Each head had arms embedded into the neck below it, holding up the next head. At the bottom, there were two small hands. This "six-head hand" creature stood upright like a giant insect, using its lower hands as feelers to crawl around in the cage.

As it crawled, each of the six heads turned in different directions with pale faces showing no expression. Li Fan had never seen such an disgusting monster even in his worst nightmares.

Suppressing the discomfort he felt, he quickly passed by after a glance.

...

"I must find you! I must find you!"

Listening carefully, Li Fan heard faint whispers repeating from deep within the building. Following the sound, he arrived at a large rectangular transparent cage.

On each side were four small cages connected to this long cage. Each of these smaller cages contained one ordinary person. They were hooked up to strange devices that seemed to be moving inside their bodies, causing noticeable bulges that rapidly spread and caused flesh to rot away.

As the bulges moved, some areas healed while others deteriorated further, forming black holes revealing white bones underneath. The people's suffering was no less than the cruelest forms of execution; they writhed on the ground in agony.

In front of the large rectangular cage stood a figure.

Li Fan looked and saw that this person had messy, mixed-up hair, with some gray and black strands. Their clothes were tattered and worn out as if not changed for years.

"I must find you! I must find you!"

The figure seemed to be in a trance, staring at the transparent cage while muttering repeatedly.

"Elder Yinyin?"

He was indeed at the Foundation Establishment Realm, and there was only one person here. Li Fan called from some distance away.

But he ignored him completely.

"Wo wo wo!"

At this moment, the hand-dog that Li Fan had caught began to struggle and howled, seemingly seeking help from its master.

Startled by the dog's barking, Elder Yinyin turned around sharply.

Seeing Li Fan, she suddenly realized: "Oh! Guests are here!"

"Oh! Guests are here!"

...

Two voices echoed in succession as if they were resonating inside her body before being heard outside.

Li Fan’s eyelids twitched slightly.

Releasing the hand-dog, he bowed respectfully and said, "Met you, friend!"

The dog immediately squirmed to Elder Yinyin's feet, rubbing its head against her legs for attention.

Elder Yinyin combed through her messy hair, feeling embarrassed: "I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't hear your call. Please forgive me!"

Two voices echoed again as she kicked the hand-dog aside and warmly invited Li Fan to follow her into a nearby room.

The hand-dog happily followed behind.

Elder Yinyin led the way, then turned back to Li Fan with a reminder: "By the way, I'm not called Elder Yinyin."

"My name is just Elder Yin."

"Elder Yin."

...

Two voices echoed in succession, sounding exactly like Elder Yinyin.

"Ah, that's why." Li Fan immediately understood.

The Cunyun Sea cultivators might have been mocking him by calling him that way.

"Met you, Elder Yin!" Li Fan greeted again.

Hearing his name correctly called made Elder Yin very happy.
