两眼却是死死盯着头顶的终末圆盘，甚至不由自主伸出双手，想要抚摸。
His eyes, however, were fixed intently on the terminal disk above his head, even extending both hands as if he wanted to touch it.

As an undercover spy for the Fulfillment Assembly, he had been pushed to a corner by the Celestial Treasure Mirror. He knew all too well how valuable this object was.
“ zhè shì shén me ？” liú wēn yǔ bù jīn wèn dào 。
“这是什么？”刘温宇不禁问道。
"What is this?" Liu Wenyu asked.
“【 zhē tiān yuán pán 】。” xǔ bái dàn dàn dì shuō dào ， xīn niàn yī dòng ， zhōng mò yuán pán jiù shùn jiān xū huà ， ràng liú wēn yǔ mō le gè kōng 。
“【遮天圆盘】。”许白淡淡地说道，心念一动，终末圆盘就瞬间虚化，让刘温宇摸了个空。
"This is [Terminal Disk]," Xu Bai said indifferently. With a mental command, the terminal disk instantly became ethereal, leaving Liu Wenyu empty-handed.

刘温宇这才陡然回过神来。
Liu Wenyu suddenly snapped back to reality.

依依不舍地从终末圆盘上离开目光，他面色肃然的拱了拱手，道：“道友今次找上门，应该是有要紧事吧。”
With reluctance, he turned his gaze away from the terminal disk and respectfully bowed. "Friend, you must have an important matter this time."
xǔ bái hēng le yī shēng ：“ méi cuò 。 wǒ shì xīng shī wèn zuì ér lái ！”
许白哼了一声：“没错。我是兴师问罪而来！”
Xu Bai snorted. "Correct. I came here to seek retribution!"
“ a ？” liú wēn yǔ dùn shí yī lèng 。
“啊？”刘温宇顿时一愣。
"Ah?" Liu Wenyu was taken aback.
“ bù jiǔ qián ， wǒ men zǔ zhī tōng guò 【 zhēn shí yòu guǒ 】 kòng zhì de yī míng hé dào xiū shì ， jū rán yǐn yǐn yǒu shī kòng de jì xiàng 。 xìng hǎo wǒ men fā xiàn de jí shí ， zài tā chéng gōng fǎn shuǐ qián ， lìng shī shǒu duàn 。 zhè cái jiāng qí wěn zhù 。 fǒu zé ， wǒ men 【 fù tiān huì 】 zhè cì bì jiāng sǔn shī cǎn zhòng 。” xǔ bái yǔ qì bù shàn 。
“不久前，我们组织通过【真实诱果】控制的一名合道修士，居然隐隐有失控的迹象。幸好我们发现的及时，在他成功反水前，另施手段。这才将其稳住。否则，我们【覆天会】这次必将损失惨重。”许白语气不善。

“ jǐn shuō dà huà ！ nán guài bèi wàn xiān méng yā zhì dào rú jīn zhè bān dì bù 。” xǔ bǎi piē le duì fāng yī yǎn ， huǎn shēng shuō dào 。
“尽说大话！难怪被万仙盟压制到如今这般地步。”许百瞥了对方一眼，缓声说道。
"That's just boasting! No wonder you've been suppressed to your current state," Xu Bai glanced at him and said calmly.
“ zhēn shí yòu guǒ shī xiào le ？” liú wēn yǔ miàn lù hài rán zhī sè ， dàn hěn kuài ， tā jiù lián lián yáo tóu 。
“真实诱果失效了？”刘温宇面露骇然之色，但很快，他就连连摇头。
"Has [True Fruit] failed?" Liu Wenyu showed signs of shock but quickly shook his head.
“ cǐ shì jué wú kě néng 。 zhǐ yào tiān zūn shàng cún yú shì ， jiù bù kě néng yǒu hé dào xiū shì néng gòu wéi bèi tā de lì liàng 。” liú wēn yǔ shí fēn dǔ dìng dào 。
“此事绝无可能。只要天尊尚存于世，就不可能有合道修士能够违背祂的力量。”刘温宇十分笃定道。
"This is impossible. As long as the Supreme Sovereign exists, no Disciple can defy His power." Liu Wenyu was very certain.

yú shì xǔ bái yǐn qù rén míng 、 shì qíng xì jié ， biān zào le yī wèi hé dào xiū shì 、 zài chá jué dào zì shēn shòu dào kòng zhì de qíng xíng hòu 、 xiǎng yào fǎn pàn de shì jiàn 。
于是许白隐去人名、事情细节，编造了一位合道修士、在察觉到自身受到控制的情形后、想要反叛的事件。
Thus, Xu Bai concealed names and specifics, fabricating a story about a Disciple who rebelled after realizing he was controlled by [True Fruit].

刘温宇思索了一会，这才回复道：“可能，是你们使用【真实诱果】的方法不对。”
Liu Wenyu thought for a moment before replying, "Perhaps it's because you used [True Fruit] incorrectly."
xǔ bái bó rán dà nù ：“ zhè me shuō ， fǎn dào shì wǒ men de wèn tí le ？ wǒ men kě shì yán gé àn zhào nǐ men dāng chū de shuō míng lái cāo zuò de 。”
许白勃然大怒：“这么说，反倒是我们的问题了？我们可是严格按照你们当初的说明来操作的。”
Xu Bai roared in anger. "So, this is our fault? We followed your instructions to the letter."
liú wēn yǔ lián máng jiě shì dào ：“ zhēn shí yòu guǒ ， néng gòu niǔ qū xiū shì sī wéi ， shǐ qí duì nǎ pà zài zěn me huāng dàn de shì wù ， dōu néng shēn xìn bù yí 。 dàn xiū shì bì jìng bú shì kuǐ lěi 。 tā men bì jìng yōng yǒu zhe zì jǐ de sī xiǎng 。 rú guǒ biān zào de huǎng yán ， tài guò jiǎn lòu 。 tā men zài chá jué dào qí yǔ zì shēn de rèn zhī xiāng bèi de shí hòu ， suī rán bú huì huái yí ， dàn què kě néng tōng guò gè zhǒng fāng shì ， chóng xīn duì qí jìn xíng yàn zhèng 。”
刘温宇连忙解释道：“真实诱果，能够扭曲修士思维，使其对哪怕再怎么荒诞的事物，都能深信不疑。但修士毕竟不是傀儡。他们毕竟拥有着自己的思想。如果编造的谎言，太过简陋。他们在察觉到其与自身的认知相悖的时候，虽然不会怀疑，但却可能通过各种方式，重新对其进行验证。”

“比如，如果对一位合道修士灌输‘他实际上乃是手无缚鸡之力的凡人’的观念后，他固然会按照凡人的行事方法去生活。但如果，当某一天，他无意间随手杀了另外一位元婴修士后。事实与认知产生的冲突，就会迫使他，找到矛盾所发生的原因。找到必须能够说服自身的理由。”
"For example, if you implanted the idea that 'he is actually a powerless ordinary person,' he would live as one. However, if he accidentally killed an Incarnation Realm cultivator someday, the contradiction between reality and belief would force him to find reasons to convince himself."

liú wēn yǔ tíng dùn le piàn kè ， kàn le yǎn xǔ bái ， zhè cái jiē zhe shuō dào ：“ tā huò xǔ huì rèn wéi ， xuán huáng jiè wēi jī sì fú 。 rú guǒ shí lì bù gòu què bào lù zài wài ， hěn yǒu kě néng wēi jí xìng mìng 。 suǒ yǐ tā rèn wéi ， bǎ nǐ qiú jìn zài mǒu chù dì láo zhōng ， ràng nǐ yì zhí xiū liàn 。 zhí dào xiū xíng yǒu chéng ， dá dào hé dào jìng jiè 。 yǒu zú gòu de zī běn yóu lì xuán huáng hòu ， cái yīng gāi fàng nǐ chū lái 。”
刘温宇停顿了片刻，看了眼许白，这才接着说道：“他或许会认为，玄黄界危机四伏。如果实力不够却暴露在外，很有可能危及性命。所以他认为，把你囚禁在某处地牢中，让你一直修炼。直到修行有成，达到合道境界。有足够的资本游历玄黄后，才应该放你出来。”

刘温宇也是有些无奈：“毕竟是合道修士，在所难免。如果真那么容易控制，我们五老会岂不是早就能一统玄黄界了。又哪里会落入如今这般地步。”
