"Actually, there's nothing particularly extraordinary about it," he mused. "It’s just the word 'immortality.' But its simplicity and sanctity are unparalleled. 回到了山海边，自己坚守了几乎大半辈子的熟悉地方。守丘公照例盘腿而坐，守丘、望海。

“ zhèng rú shān hǎi zhī wú xiàn yì bān ， dé cháng shēng zhě 、 biàn kě dé wú qióng wú jìn shòu yuán 。 nǎ pà jǐn fēn shì shàng suǒ yǒu shēng líng ， měi rén suǒ de 、 yì shì wú xiàn 。”
“正如山海之无限一般，得长生者、便可得无穷无尽寿元。哪怕尽分世上所有生灵，每人所得、亦是无限。”
Even the nourishment from the path of immortality could not completely dispel the signs of aging that emerged from within him.

“登仙之法，是联通山海。而这门长生妙法，便是勾连长生！”
After a long while, Cheng Dao finally couldn't hold back and asked, "Younger Brother... Have you truly understood?"
“ yuē ： shān hǎi zài wù ， gū xīng fā shēng 。 tiān dì zī shǐ ， cháng shēng xián hēng 。 zhū jiè qí bù ， wàn líng míng shén 。 yī zhāo tōng gǎn ， qiú dào zhì zhēn 。 fán xiǎng bì yīng ， suǒ sī nǎi chéng ……”
“曰：山海载物，孤星发生。天地资始，长生咸亨。诸界棋布，万灵明神。一朝通感，求道至臻。凡想必应，所思乃成……”

表面看上去，这似乎并非只是单纯的神通妙法描述。而是好似一段诗歌，是那守丘公在山海边守丘时，作和唱之。
"I've walked this path for so many years," he lamented, "but only glimpsed the true essence of immortality."

沧桑古老的声音，越过了山海，穿透了时光。落入了此刻李凡的耳中。
"You must be restless because you can't see a way beyond the mundane while being burdened by life and death. That's why I passed on these teachings."

"One, your cultivation method is Cheng Dao. You follow every step, which aligns with your path. Two, this path was walked over many years by your own feet. It’s filled with your footprints. “实则道理都是相同的。都是从无到有，开辟一条道路。只不过修仙、长生、还真……这三条通路最后所达到的目的地不同罢了。”

tā jīng xǐ de fā xiàn ， huò xǔ shì shí zhèng rú tā suǒ cāi cè de nà yàng 。 sān zhě zhī jiān de dào lǐ ， jìng yǒu zhū duō xiāng tōng zhī chù 。 yǐ jīng zài liǎng tiáo dào lù shàng ， dōu zǒu le hěn zhǎng yī duàn jù lí 。
他惊喜的发现，或许事实正如他所猜测的那样。三者之间的道理，竟有诸多相通之处。已经在两条道路上，都走了很长一段距离。
