第1429章 仙狩猎真仙

Li Fan observed the scene carefully, noticing that apart from the seven Immortal Hunters, there seemed to be another one lurking in the shadows. This figure did not participate in hunting the Trueimmortal but instead silently repaired the battlefield.

The true nature of Dao Yuan's power became evident as Li Fan perceived countless mysterious and powerful techniques. Swords materialized out of thin air, each accompanied by a faint silhouette of a figure. The myriad sword dao techniques resonated across the starry sky, amplifying their potency to an incredible degree.

At one point, it seemed like a pen was secretly recording and altering the battle's outcome. Li Fan had witnessed a Trueimmortal's final attack that should have hit another Immortal Hunter, but the scene suddenly changed - the attacker appeared unharmed while the Trueimmortal received a counterattack.

The Trueimmortal was pushed to his limits, barely managing to defend himself.

Just as he seemed on the brink of defeat, a golden circle suddenly materialized, effectively sealing off the battlefield and cutting off all connections from the Dreamland Realm.

Li Fan could only observe from outside the golden ring.

Suddenly, a figure in white appeared beyond the golden circle, observing the battle within with a serious expression.

The presence of this golden circle seemed to have stabilized the shattered network of Dao Yuan during the conflict, preventing a disaster. Li Fan felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity as he gazed at the divine aura emanating from the golden line.

"Is that...?"

"This must be the Immortal Pillar?" The image of the South Immortal Pillar, crafted from Trueimmortal's leg bone, began to overlap with the golden circle in his mind.

Li Fan was shocked and quickly retracted his Dreamland Realm tentacles. He observed from a distance.

The figure in white appeared outside the golden ring, seemingly observing the battle within intently. Occasionally, he looked up as if recording something.

Li Fan realized that this Immortal Pillar had acted as a stabilizing force during the conflict, preventing a disaster. The figure was constantly using light to reinforce and solidify the golden circle.

"This must be the one known as 'Supplementing Heaven.'"

"Thankfully, my attention was fully absorbed by the battle, so I didn't notice your observation."

Li Fan felt relieved but did not approach any closer. He continued observing from afar.

The battle seemed to finally subside as the golden ring's light gradually faded. The seven Immortal Hunters reappeared, but the Trueimmortal had vanished without a trace.

One of the Immortal Hunters explained with a solemn voice: "He managed to escape at the last moment due to some other force intervening and rescuing him."

Another Immortal Hunter confirmed: "My Heaven-drawing pen couldn't change this fact. It's clear that an unnamed Trueimmortal intervened."

"Moreover, it was one not recorded in our records," he added.

The other Immortal Hunters' expressions changed as they heard this news. Some looked excited while others appeared fearful.

The figure in white nodded: "Though we failed to capture the Trueimmortal, we discovered a new one. It's both a loss and a gain."

He instructed another Immortal Hunter named Chu Youhong to stay behind and repair the Dao traces with him.

The other six figures disappeared instantly, leaving only Chu Youhong and the figure in white standing amidst the battlefield.

Despite not participating directly, Li Fan could feel that the starry sky had become 'stronger' after their intervention.

"Chu Brother, Heaven-drawing pen."

Li Fan recalled the voice of the Immortal Hunter from afar.

"God Pen Sect, Chu Youhong?"

After a moment's thought, Li Fan confirmed his identity: Chu Youhong, former head of the God Pen Sect who had once said that as long as he lived, the God Pen Sect would endure. He had left a significant mark in the history of the Yellow and Black World before vanishing.

Today, he was seen again outside the high walls in the Starry Sky of Life.

Li Fan recalled Chu Youhong's displayed power: "With his divine pen, he could alter and rewrite reality... Though not a Trueimmortal, his actual combat strength must be on par with them."

This realization left Li Fan shaken. He finally had a clearer understanding of the power outside the walls.

As he pondered, Chu Youhong completed the repair work.

"How do you view the unnamed Trueimmortal who appeared at the end?"

"Someone as perceptive as you should have noticed his presence," replied the figure in white.

"After all, it's said that you can replicate and imitate Dao."

Chu Youhong's words left Li Fan even more astonished.
